Parent + Child Hybrid Coaching
Learn Positive Discipline together through real-life practice.
90-minute sessions to practice tools, strengthen connection, and bring calm & joy into everyday life.
What is Hybrid Coaching?
Learn and practice Positive Discipline together with your child—right in your daily life.
In Hybrid Coaching, I combine observation, demonstration, and guided practice.
Together, we:
Explore your family’s specific challenges
Practice Positive Discipline tools in real-life situations
Reflect and adapt so you feel confident continuing at home
Guided Coaching for Families
Learn, practice, and grow together—one small step at a time.
Hybrid vs. 1-on-1: What’s the Difference?
Both Hybrid Coaching and 1-on-1 Parent Coaching help you grow with Positive Discipline—but in different ways. Use this comparison to see how each style fits your family’s needs and which approach feels right for you.
Hybrid Coaching
Interactive sessions where you and your child experience Positive Discipline tools in real time.
- Session Length: 90 min
- Participants: Parent(s) + child (flexible)
- Learning Style: Demonstration + guided practice
- Best For: Families wanting hands-on learning
- Follow-Up: Worksheets, prompts, personalized resources
1-on-1 Parent Coaching
Focused time for parents to reflect, learn tools, and plan strategies with guidance.
- Session Length: 60 min
- Participants: Parent(s) only
- Learning Style: Discussion & planning
- Best For: Parents wanting reflection & tools
- Hands-On Practice: Limited
- Follow-Up: Optional light check-in
Not every child jumps in right away (and that’s okay!)
Participation looks different for every child, and that’s completely normal. Children learn best when invited, not forced. Some parts of Hybrid Coaching are parent-only, others are interactive. Even if your child chooses to watch or play nearby, watching is also learning—and little steps count, too. You’ll still see how I gently invite participation and model Positive Discipline tools, so you can feel confident trying again later.

1. Warm-Up & Check-In
Quick connection and goal-setting with parent(s) and child(ren)
Share today’s focus (e.g., routines, tantrums, sibling conflicts, transitions)
2. Demonstration & Guided Practice
- I model tools with parent + child(ren), depending on today’s focus
- Parents and children try together, while siblings may join or observe
- Reinforces confidence and skill
May include a child-only segment if useful
3. Reflection & Planning
Parent(s) reflect on what worked and what to adjust
Discuss practical ways to apply the tools with one child or multiple children at home
4. Wrap-up & Next Steps
Summarize key takeaways and set simple practice goals
Share worksheets or practice activities to continue at home
- May include a short parent-only segment
Hybrid Coaching adapts to your child’s age, temperament, and your family’s needs.
Some parts of the session involve both parent and child together, while other times your child may play independently as we focus on parent reflection. Occasionally, I may spend a short period with your child alone to see natural reactions and demonstrate tools directly. In every case, the goal is the same: to experience Positive Discipline in action and leave confident to apply the tools at home.

I’d love to hear from you personally!
That’s okay! Children don’t need to be “on” for the whole session. Some parts are designed for parents only, while other parts are interactive. If your child prefers to watch or play independently, remember that watching is also learning. Little steps count, too—you’ll still see how I gently invite participation and model Positive Discipline tools, so you can try again later with confidence.
Yes! Joint parent participation is encouraged and can make the experience even more effective.
The first session is always in-person so I can observe your home environment and understand what resources you already have. After that, sessions can be held online if it works for your family’s schedule and needs.
Unlike babysitting, Hybrid Coaching is designed for parent learning. You’ll practice Positive Discipline tools alongside your child, with real-life guidance, reflection, and support—so you can confidently use them at home.
Yes! Families with multiple children can also do Hybrid Coaching. Before each session, I’ll ask about your children and what you’d like to focus on so I can plan accordingly.
Depending on your goals, we may focus on practicing with one child at a time (while siblings observe), or involve everyone together for topics like sibling conflicts, routines, or cooperation. Observing is also a powerful way for children to learn, so even if a sibling isn’t directly practicing, they’re still benefiting.
One-Off Hybrid Session: Pay after the session.
